The Party Ledger is a free, private companion app for one Dungeons & Dragons group, run by Charlie Langdale. Using it means accepting the following. If you would rather not, don’t use it — nothing is lost but a convenience.
A tool for tracking character sheets, encounters and notes. It is meant to aid a game, not replace it — most of play still happens at the table. Accounts are created by the DM by invitation only.
There is no warranty of any kind, no guaranteed uptime, and no promise that it is free of errors. It is a hobby project in active development. Rules calculations may be wrong — the rulebook is the authority, not this app. If a number here looks wrong, it may well be, and saying so is genuinely useful.
Data could be lost. Take your own copy of anything you would mind losing.
What you write — characters, notes, homebrew — remains yours. It is stored so the app can show it to you and, where you have chosen to share it, to your group. It will not be used for anything else, published, or handed to a third party. You can ask for a copy or for it to be deleted at any time; see the privacy notice.

Material outside the SRD is referred to by name and summarised mechanically only; no Player’s Handbook text is reproduced. You need your own copy of the book to play. This app is unofficial and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.
To the extent the law allows, Charlie Langdale is not liable for any loss arising from using this app, including lost data or lost campaign progress. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
